- Students, parents, guidance counsellors or vice-principals contact the school any time between September and June to place their name on a wait list.
- An interview appointment will be scheduled by the main office when the wait list opens. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend this interview.
- Students with fewer than 25 credits will be enrolled in a five week intensive grade 11 Life Skills course. Upon successful completion, the students will have earned their first credit at Elizabeth Wyn Wood Alternate Program.
- Students will enter the mainstream academic program after Life Skills to work on credits towards their O.S.S.D.
NB: Students may be withdrawn from the program if they do not meet their responsibilities of course achievement or attendance, or acceptable behaviour.
