How Do I get Started at EWW?

  • Students, parents, guidance counsellors or vice-principals contact the school any time between September and June to place their name on a wait list. The school's email address is: elizabethwynwoodsap@ocdsb.ca.
  • New registrants will be asked for a copy of a Credit Counselling Summary (or equivalent), and a copy of the IEP, if applicable.
  • An interview appointment will be scheduled by the main office when the wait list opens. Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend this interview.

  • Incoming students will be assessed as to learning readiness, and may be required to take a five-week "Life Skills" course, which counts as a grade 11 credit.
  • Students will enter the mainstream academic program after Life Skills to work on credits towards their O.S.S.D.

NB: Students may be withdrawn from the program if they do not meet their responsibilities of course achievement or attendance, or acceptable behaviour.
